Material changes to procedural content on UK IMG Navigator are recorded here with the date, scope and a short summary. Cosmetic and typographic fixes are omitted.

  1. Navigation

    Added dedicated in-app Back buttons across authenticated pages, tool pages and marketing guide pages. Back closes any open modal or sheet first (including on hardware browser back), then navigates to the logical parent (with browser-history fallback). Tool form inputs now persist per-route via sessionStorage so returning to a tool preserves your entries and scroll position.

  2. Tools

    Sprint 27: launched the tools workspace (per-user 'My saved results' at /tools inside the app), added a daily PLAB 2 deadline reminder cron (90/30/7-day thresholds, dedupe-safe in-app notifications), and shipped a Vitest suite covering the four rule engines with 26 boundary and scenario tests.

    Sprint 26: rebuilt the Pathway Timeline visualiser with parallel lanes (English, PLAB, EPIC, GMC, employment), external-wait blocks flagged distinctly, fast / expected / delayed scenarios, EPIC-in-parallel toggle, month-scale Gantt view and save-to-workspace.

  4. Tools

    Sprint 25: rebuilt the PLAB 2 deadline calculator (risk bands, contingency target, leap-day-safe date maths, assumptions panel) and the PLAB cost calculator (mandatory / conditional / variable / retake split with low / expected / high scenarios and optional local-currency conversion), both wired to the versioned cost rule pack and save-to-workspace.

  5. Tools

    Sprint 24: rebuilt the Route Assessment tool on the versioned rules engine — five controlled result states (including an abstention state), reasons, missing evidence, warnings, up to three next official actions, and save-to-workspace for signed-in users.

  6. Platform

    Sprint 23: launched the shared free-tools foundation — versioned rules engine (route assessment and PLAB deadline packs), official source and fee registries with reviewer workflow, saved tool results with per-user RLS, and a privacy-safe analytics event schema.

  7. Measurement

    Launched the AI-citation benchmark tracker (admin), the daily broken-official-link monitor, the public fee index at /fees and the State of the UK IMG Pathway 2026 report skeleton.

  8. Content

    Published NHS career and UK visa for doctors pillar clusters (8 new guides) and the pathway timeline visualiser tool.

  9. Content

    Published EPIC verification and GMC registration pillar clusters (8 new guides), the PLAB cost calculator, and added EPIC and NHS reviewer profiles.

    Published English language requirements, PLAB 1 and PLAB 2 pillar clusters (13 new guides) and the PLAB 2 deadline calculator tool.
