Editorial policy
UK IMG Navigator is operated by ViQtor Davis Holdings. Pages are written from primary sources and dated. Each source has a recheck interval (90 days by default); a review counts only for the version it signed off. No independent clinical or legal review has been recorded yet, and no page claims one. If the primary source and our page disagree, the primary source wins and we publish a correction.
Source hierarchy
- Official regulator (GMC, exam board, Intealth/ECFMG, UKVI).
- Official NHS or UK Government publications.
- Named professional body guidance (BMA, Royal Colleges, HEE).
- Peer-reviewed literature or government statistics.
- Verified practitioner experience, clearly labelled as such.
Writing and review
- Pages are written by the owner-operated editorial process, shown as the author.
- A reviewer is named only when a real person has recorded a review, with their notes and the sources they checked. Automated link checks never count as a review.
- Fee and source checks show the date they were done and who did them (for example, an automated agent check rather than a person).
- Procedural claims link to the official source used. Our own estimates, such as timeline pacing, are labelled as estimates.
- Direct answer under H1 (40–80 words), then applicability, requirements, steps, costs, common failure points and sources.
Review cadence
Each official source has its own recheck interval — 90 days by default, longer for editorial estimates. Sources past their interval, sources that changed after their last review, and reviews that found a problem stay in the review queue rather than being shown as current. We aim to recheck sooner when an official body announces a change.
Corrections
