Source methodology
Procedural pages on UK IMG Navigator link to the official source we used and show when it was last checked. We keep four kinds of check separate: automated link checks, automated source reading, review by the site owner, and independent review. No independent review has been recorded yet. We do not rely on secondary summaries for registration-critical facts.

How we detect changes
- Automated link checks: confirm an official page still loads. They do not read or approve its content.
- Automated source reading: an automated read of the official page, dated (for example 17 October 2026). It is not a human review and never marks content as reviewed.
- Owner review: the site owner signs off a specific version of a source or page, with notes and the pages checked. If the source record changes afterwards, that sign-off stops counting and the item returns to the review queue.
- Independent review: only shown when a named reviewer has actually signed off. None has been recorded so far.
How we publish updates
Every material change carries a dated entry in the change log, an updated dateModified in structured data, and — where guidance has shifted — a visible note on the affected page.
