OET Medicine for GMC registration
For GMC registration, OET Medicine must show a grade B (score 350) in each of reading, listening, writing and speaking, from a sitting in the last two years.

Steps
1. Book OET Medicine
Book on the OET site — pick paper or computer-based.
2. Sit and score
Reach grade B in all four sub-tests. Combining two sittings is allowed under the GMC's rules.
3. Submit to the GMC
Share the result via the OET Candidate Number system with the GMC.
Common failure points
- Taking an OET profession other than Medicine.
- Scoring grade C+ in one sub-test even with grade B in the others.
