How EPIC verification works
EPIC verifies your primary medical qualification by contacting your medical school directly and asking them to confirm the degree, dates and graduate. Intealth builds a verified credential portfolio and shares it with the GMC. You never handle the degree confirmation yourself — that's the whole point of primary source verification.

Steps
1. Create an Intealth/EPIC account
Open the account, pay the establishment fee and verify your identity.
2. Nominate the qualification
Add the primary medical qualification, upload the copy, and pay the verification fee.
3. Share with the GMC
Once verified, share access with the GMC — they pull the report at application review.
Common failure points
- Waiting until after PLAB 2 to start EPIC.
- Uploading a low-quality scan of the degree.
