PLAB 1 eligibility
To book PLAB 1 you need a primary medical qualification that is on the GMC's acceptable list, current evidence of English (IELTS 7.5 / OET B or equivalent), and a GMC Online account. You do not need an internship or job offer at this stage.

Steps
1. Open a GMC Online account
Verify your identity in GMC Online before you try to book.
2. Upload English evidence
Confirm your IELTS or OET result is inside the two-year window.
3. Book a sitting
PLAB 1 slots are released in batches. Book the first slot that works.

- Booking with an expired or ineligible English certificate.
